We will meet together weekly for 1-hour sessions either in person, or on Zoom. Due to the depth of our content, we are only able to offer this senior level mentoring to individuals who are already serving in leadership roles in ministry or business. We have to be very purposeful to offer 1 on 1 coaching to a few leaders at a time. The first step is to schedule an introduction Zoom for you and I to prayerfully determine our next steps in 1 on 1 Leadership Coaching.
Meet Our Founder and Lead Coach
It excites me to know that God is using Finishing Strong around the world to help believers better understand His Word and engage the Holy Spirit. It is humbling to think that pastors are using our Winning God’s Way online discipleship system in their local churches. What a joy to be focused leading believers to become followers of Jesus to their place in His Body!
I began in Christian ministry nearly 40 years ago! I would have never imagined the journey that lay ahead. On God’s course, I have traveled the world and watched Him do wonders. I have studied in Bible School, have a Master Degree in Communication and attended law school. He has given me the great privilege of serving in executive positions with powerful organizations. My responsibilities had grown from a manager – to director – to vice presidentto COO – President of a national television network and a member of several board of directors. It’s been quite an adventure!
My calling to serve His Kingdom continues. It has been a joy to watch God work in the lives of His people. I love to share with fellow leaders the wisdom, knowledge and understanding He has given me. That is why we created God’s Champion Heart – Leadership Coaching. Our focus will not be on “best practices” of leadership, but on you and His call. We can’t offer this program to everyone, that would be impossible. But God connects me to

Finishing Strong is not in the business of coaching. It is our God-given passion. The focus of our leadership coaching is to help maximize your gifts and calling for Kingdom success. Most executive leadership coaching is expensive. We are different. If we agree together on your enrollment into God’s Champion Heart coaching, I won’t set a fixed price, but to ask you to prayerfully “pay it forward” to help others.

When will Jesus return?
Coach’s Reply: Soon! He is excited about coming back to begin His 1000 year reign. The Church of Jesus on earth must focus on completing Jesus’ last command to His disciples.
And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen. Who is Don Black?
Coach’s Reply: This is an important question. As you consider enrolling in Winning God’s Way it is critical to know about the lead coach and my qualifications. Let me start by saying that God supernaturally gave me the vision and privilege to create Winning God’s Way.
I love Him and His people. My heart’s desire is to see them rise in faith to be all that God created them to be. I have been following Jesus for more than 34 years. In my journey, I’ve earned a master degree from Regent University and attended its Law School. God has given me the privilege to travel the world working with many nationally known Christian ministries. I have served as the President and CEO of a national Christian television network, where I hosted many television programs and powerful specials. I am the author of 17 books about Christian living and American history.

What does the Real Life Assessment work?
Coach’s Reply: The Real Life Assessment is a unique, custom tool that measures where you stand in three critical areas of life; your spirit, your mind, and your body. It is available online and automatically creates your Real Life Score based upon your honest responses. The results are confidential and designed to help you take the next step in your walk with Jesus.
What is God's Championship Heart Leadership Coaching
God’s Champion’s Heart Leadership is an 8 week, one-on-one personal coaching program. It combines the best of custom social science assessments with a proven, leadership development system.
At the end of the eight-week sessions, the client will have created a Champion Personal Life Plan that will serve as a catalyst for Kingdom success. Don Black or another Finishing Strong’s Senior coaches meet with a Christian business or ministry leader for 1-hour live session either in person or via Zoom.
There is not a fixed charge for God’s Champion’s Heart Championship Coaching. We ask that the client would evaluate the value that they received and would prayerfully contribute financially to support bringing the program to other leaders.
How does the Winning God’s Way course work?
Coach’s Reply: My goal for creating this course is to help others to find and fulfill their God-given purpose. Following Jesus is a lifelong adventure. Now is the time to retrain your brain and to build a solid faith foundation for your future. If you know that God has more for you, but you feel stuck in your life, then I ask you to pray about joining our life coaching family.
It is a 6-week program that puts you in charge of your future. It is made up of 27 coaching video sessions, in 3 masterclasses. There is nothing else like it! Five times a week you will dedicate less than 30-minutes to watching the video and completing your personal Coach’s Guide for that session. There will be quizzes to help you learn, along with my Coach’s Tips daily e-mail to feed your powerful spirit, to renew your mind and build a strong body. At the end of the course, you will retake our Personal Assessment to see how far you have come in such a short time. We will finish the course by giving you a custom certificate of your achievement.
How long will it take to complete?

Can I download the course and do it offline?
Coach’s Reply: Winning God’s Way is video based so you will watch it online. Each coaching session has a Coach’s Guide created especially for it. You will download this PDF and print it out to use after watching the video. I created the Coach’s Guide for you to write your answers to my questions and to complete some very special exercises; i.e. creating a personal mission statement and many others.
